Evensong is the name given to evening worship which is sung in cathedrals and some parish churches every day. It is based on the monastic office of Vespers and is made up of Psalms, scripture readings and prayer. This spiritual and contemporary musical presentation is modeled after the sacred evensong service, however is intermingled with poetry, spiritualist philosophy, inspiring quotations, prayer and meditation.

KATIE CATON is not only a Certified NSAC medium through Morris Pratt Institute, she also holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music Education; certified to teach music and theatre in New York State. After 25 years of working in arts education, church music and theatre on Long Island, she now enjoys teaching full time music and theatre in the Sherman Central School District.

DAVID VOGEL is a member of the Lily Dale Spiritualist Church, NSAC. Dave is a baritone and sings every year here at our Memorial Concert. His instrumental expertise extends to guitar, harmonica, mandolin, dobro and percussion. Dave has shared his musical talents both here and regionally. He has been a recording Artist under InvoKation since 2006. He is also InvoKation’s Recording Engineer.
