DAY 2: EARTH DANCE & THE FOUR ELEMENTS
![]()
Presented by Wind Daughter
Sunday, July 6, 2008
9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Lyceum Building
Fee: $95.00
This day is dedicated to discovering your personal connection with Mother Nature. We will work both collectively and individually to connect with the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air contained within the four gateways of the Medicine Wheel that was constructed Saturday.
You will learn to connect your spirit with the Spirit Keepers of each direction of the Wheel through guided imagery. At the end of the day, we will collectively give life to our personal earth dances, our healing, and the healing of Mother Earth. We will then dismantle the Wheel by removing the stakes and rope around the stones, just as a sand painting is destroyed when the healing work is complete. The energy and message of the Wheel then lives within each of us as we return to our regular lives.
WIND DAUGHTER: Since beginning her journey with her gift of song many years ago, Wind Daughter has built a program of experiential workshops and retreats to teach others how to renew their relationship with Mother Earth, and to reach within themselves to sustain their spirits. As a trained cermonialist, Wind Daughter works with regional circles and groups, as well as national events, to assist others in the path of healing. Wind Daughter is the founder and director of West Winds, an experientially oriented spiritual organization in Arkansas, as well as the adopted daughter and long-time student of Grandfather BearHeart Marcellus Williams. In late 2006, after receiving guidance through prayer, reflection, and consultation, Wind Daughter decided to give name to her own vision, while continuing to carry The Bear Tribe’s teachings and the Bear Tribe Medicine Chief bundle into a new era, creating The Panther Lodge Medicine Society.
