This presentation reviews and builds upon the highly popular class Donna taught at Lily Dale in the summer of 2006. In addition to presenting some of the fundamental concepts and methods of energy medicine, Donna will also orient her presentation to the unique needs of the people attending.

Energy medicine has been called “the future of all medicine.” It recognizes energy as a vital, living, moving force that is at the foundation of your well-being. Energy medicine is both a complement to other approaches to medical care and a complete system for self-care and self-help. It shows you how to understand and work with your body’s energies to:

• increase your vitality, health and happiness
• enhance your clarity of mind
• identify and correct energy imbalances that keep you from being at your best

Energy medicine draws upon ancient healing and spiritual practices (e.g., acupuncture, qi gong, yoga, and shamanism), combines them with modern scientific understanding of the body’s energies, and applies the ancient practices in thoroughly modern ways. Its applications extend far beyond the health care setting, into business, education, government, spiritual development, and family life–everywhere that people wish to be more effective, vital, and creative.

DONNA EDEN is among the worlds most sought, most joyous, and most authoritative spokespersons for energy medicine. Her abilities as a healer are legendary, and she has taught some fifty thousand people world-wide, both laypeople and professionals, how to understand the body as an energy system. Since childhood, she has been able to see the flow of the body’s energies, and from this clairvoyant ability, she has developed a system for teaching others, who do not have this gift, to productively work with their body’s energies. DAVID FEINSTEIN, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist, has served on the faculties of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Antioch College. Among his major works are The Promise of Energy Psychology (co-authored with his wife, Donna Eden, and Gary Craig), The Mythic Path, and Rituals for Living and Dying.
