JOURNEY TO THE FOUR DIRECTIONS
Presented by Debbie Muzik

Assembly Hall
Fee: $40.00
After comparing guided imagery and creative visualization and learning how to achieve altered states of consciousness, you will also learn the Native American symbolism for the four directions. Through the process of guided imagery, workshop participants are led to an altered state and then directed to an encounter with their shaman or spirit guide.
After receiving a special symbolic ‘gift’ from the shaman or guide, a journey via guided imagery to the four directions follows. During this experience, emphasis is on the multi-level symbolism of each direction and culminates with an imaginary encounter with the symbolic animal totems of the four directions - each imparting something special to the journeyer for their personal growth and development.
