Dedicated to the principles of spiritual healing, the Healing Temple was opened in 1955. It has remained a place of peace for all those who come to renew their energies through Healing Templehealing or quiet meditation and prayer. During the rest of the year, it remains home to the Lily Dale Spiritualist Church.

We welcome your arrival to the Healing Temple.  There is a sacredness to the energy of the Temple that many people feel just walking through the doors.  Please turn off any recording and/or cell devices. Recordings and photos are taken only upon permission of the Lily Dale Assembly. When entering the Temple, we ask that you remain quiet. There are many guests who desire to have quiet space before receiving healing, as well as those who choose to pray, meditate or simply be silent. On a very busy day, ushers will help you be seated and healings are offered in the order of your arrival. In respectfulness of the Temple, our healers and guests, we ask that you wear attire that covers your body, as we may, if necessary, ask you to wear a prayer shawl during a healing.

It is of benefit to you if you can spend a few minutes in quiet preparation and inner stillness. Give yourself permission to receive. Be receptive and positive. There are many healers that serve the Temple from many states, cities and countries. All healers have been approved to serve in the Healing Temple and have completed training or certification in Spiritual Healing.

You are welcome to our daily services and invited to  experience the healing energies relayed through any one of the men and women who serve at the Temple. The doors are open to serve all who enter.  The Temple can accommodate those who use portable chair assistance.

Love offerings are graciously accepted for the continued restoration and care of the Temple. If you would like to support the legacy and the future of Spiritual Healing, donations can be made to the Lily Dale Healing Temple Escrow fund in memory of a loved one or given as a tax-deductible donation for the future of Spiritual Healing.  The fund is solely for the Healing Temple and has continued to grow from your caring contributions. Thank you one and all.

If you would like to make an online donation, please use the Donation Form.  Select Healing Temple Escrow Fund from the drop-down.  If you prefer to make a donation by mail, please make check payable to Lily Dale Assembly and enter “Healing Temple Escrow Fund” in the memo line.  Your donation should be mailed to the following address:

We offer a Wednesday evening Healing Service held September to June at the Healing Temple. Service begins at 7:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Suggestions for Receiving a Healing

1. Please be respectful by remaining quiet prior to and during the healing service. Please turn your cell phone off. We welcome you to sit in the Temple before the service and remind you that others come to meditate and pray before the service begins. On a very busy day, healings are offered to our summer guests in the order of their arrival into the temple. When a guest is not covered enough we will ask you to wear a prayer shawl during the healing.

2. It is of benefit if you can spend a few minutes in quietness and inward preparation. Give yourself permission to receive the renewal of healing. Be receptive and positive.

3. Place the healing in heart felt intentions. Ask that you be open to receive the healing energies. Place your feet flat on the floor, your hands on your lap palms open, and turned upward. Breathe in and out several times, and then gently close your eyes to relax.

4. The true value of Spiritual Healing is not always measured immediately, although you may receive immediate relief. Others may verify and recognize change slowly. All healings benefit the receiver. Trust in the love and power of Spirit to touch you or the situation in need. Expect good and respect the process.

5. There are many healers that serve the temple. They all meet the guidelines set forth for healing by Lily Dale Assembly, and their churches, as Spiritual Healers. Healers will spend a moment to welcome you personally. It is not always necessary to share details of healing situations. In the laying on of hands we will ask your permission to touch. It remains a three way connection between God, helpers, and you.

6. Accept the healing in love. Maintain an attitude of gratitude. Remember to give thanks and keep positive thoughts and blessings. One healing per service is appropriate.

7. Take the healing energy with you and let it continue to work through you. Spiritual Healing is not a substitute for medical treatment. It is a complementary therapy, compatible with all others forms of treatment. Never substitute a spiritual healing as a medical treatment or advice.

8. Please do not expect a message when sitting for healing. This is a sacred transference of healing energies from the love and power of God and Spirit through the healer to the recipient. Messages are given in other locations in Lily Dale.

9. We appreciate your love donations to the temple as you leave. We also have prayer cards, ribbons, and prayer shawls that can be purchased to take home or given to a loved one in need. We gratefully accept your love donations to help renovate the temple building.

10. We welcome your name or your loved one’s name in our absent healing book located at the back of the temple. You may receive healing in the name of a loved one, condition or situation as well as yourself. Each healing received, each healing taken to heart, can help uplift and restore a sense of spiritual balance to our lives. Prayer request are taken all year long by calling Lily Dale Assembly.
