The Tibetan Monks of the Drepung Loseling Monastary

Saturday, June 28 - Monday, June 30, 2008

Location: Various Locations - See additional information below

Prepare for three remarkable days of healing, beauty, and connection with the divine as the Tibetan Monks of the Deprung Loseling Monastery return to Lily Dale for this extraordinary event. Over their three-day visit they will create an extraordinary work of art made entirely of colored sand. Working from the center outward, the mandala they will painstakingly create will contain millions of grains of sand, carefully placed onto a flat platform over the coming days. The word “mandala” comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “world in harmony”.

The Monks bring with them a powerful message of peace, and invite us to participate in this moving spiritual process.
